Clyde Bat Group was formed in 1997 by volunteers to promote the conservation of bats across the Clyde Region including Inverclyde, Renfrewshire, Glasgow and Lanarkshire. We are a registered charity and partner group to the Bat Conservation Trust.

Our aims:

  • to protect and conserve bats

  • to increase public awareness of bats

Our success depends on our volunteer members to help us. We are keen to hear from anyone with an interest in bats who would like to join us. You can take an active part in surveying, guided walks and talks or you can come along to the talks that are organised for our members or take no part at all.

All the money we receive from membership goes back into bat conservation!
